Dear Residents of Lynwood,

I am running for Mayor because our community deserves leadership rooted in integrity, accountability, transparency, growth and progress. As a proud resident and advocate for Lynwood, I know the challenges we face — but I also know the potential we hold when guided by honest, forward-thinking leadership.

Over the past few years, neighboring communities have endured crises stemming from mismanagement, lack of oversight, and broken trust. Residents have witnessed wasteful spending, questionable hiring practices, lawsuits, and the absence of mandatory financial disclosures that ensure taxpayers’ money is accounted for. Such leadership — marked by favoritism, unqualified appointments, and reckless decision-making — undermines public confidence and stalls community growth.

We cannot, and will not, allow Lynwood to fall victim to the same dysfunction.

As your next Mayor, I promise to:

Restore Trust Through Transparency:

• Ensure all financial documents, including budgets and audits, appropriation reports, compensation & benefits reports, treasury reports, elected officials & staff salaries and benefits reports, expenditure reports, bids and awards, union contracts, are accessible and compliant with state mandates.
• Timely annual audits and budget reviews
• Internal controls are in place for any financial expenditures
• Conduct regular town halls to keep residents informed and engaged.

End Wasteful Spending:

• Review expenditures line-by-line to eliminate waste and prioritize projects that benefit the entire community. Maximize every tax dollar spent, and eliminate the need for unnecessary tax levies.
• Establish clear policies for ethical spending and contract awarding.

Hire Qualified Professionals:

• Implement a merit-based hiring system to ensure the most experienced and capable individuals serve our community.
• End nepotism and favoritism in government operations.

Promote Accountability at All Levels:

• Introduce oversight measures to monitor and evaluate all departments.
• Hold myself, my team, and all village employees accountable for serving with integrity and professionalism.

Focus on Progress, Not Politics:

• Prioritize infrastructure, economic growth, public safety, and youth programs to create opportunities for all residents.
• Build partnerships that move Lynwood forward responsibly, with results that you can see and trust.

Lynwood is a strong, resilient community, open for business. We deserve leadership that respects your voice, protects your tax dollars, and works for the greater good — not personal or family gain. My vision is one where Lynwood thrives as a model of progress and accountability, never succumbing to the dysfunction we’ve seen elsewhere.
